Erron Kinney

12/22/2005

Kinney, who has been sidelined for more than two weeks while recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, has shown significant improvement recently, and there is a chance he could be in the Titans' lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Miami Dolphins. However, the tight end did not practice with the team on Thursday and remains listed as questionable on the injury report.

Kinney is still battling some swelling in his right knee, but he was able to do some light running during the Titans' practice on Wednesday. The tight end, who underwent arthroscopic surgery last Tuesday, will continue to rehab and receive treatment on a daily basis in hopes of returning as soon as possible. Officially, he has been listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

On Tuesday, Kinney underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair the damage he suffered in his right knee during Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The procedure was considered minor, and the tight end hopes to return to the Titans' lineup before the end of the 2005 campaign. However, he already has been ruled out of this weekend's matchup with the Houston Texans. Kinney has been productive this season, notching 54 catches for 537 yards and two touchdowns.

The sore quadriceps muscle that limited Kinney earlier in the week did not prevent him from taking the field in Sunday's matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. However, the Titans' tight end suffered a knee injury early in the contest and was unable to return to the lineup. Ben Troupe served as the team's primary target from the position following Kinney's departure.

Kinney was able to practice with the Tennessee Titans on Friday after being limited by a sore quadriceps muscle earlier in the week. The tight end is expected to be in the lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.

Due to a sprained ankle, Kinney has been limited in practice this week, but the Titans are fairly confident that he will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. The tight end officially is listed as questionable.

Despite being listed as questionable and missing some practice time earlier in the week, Kinney will be in the Titans' lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Houston Texans. The tight end was limited as a precautionary measure, due to a bruised chest.

Nursing a bruised chest, Kinney has been held out of practice this week as a precautionary measure. However, the tight end, despite being listed as questionable on the Titans' injury report, plans to be in the lineup for Sunday's meeting with the Houston Texans.
