Pinkston has been placed on injured reserve, officially ending his 2005 campaign. The receiver, who was expected to start opposite Terrell Owens this season, tore his Achilles when he tripped while running a route in practice last Friday. Last year, Pinkston finished with 676 yards and one touchdown on 36 receptions in 16 regular-season games.

Tests has revealed that Pinkston tore his Achilles tendon, an injury suffered when he tripped during practice on Friday. The receiver is expected to miss the entire 2005 campaign. He was slated to serve as the Eagles' No. 2 wideout this season, opposite top target Terrell Owens.
