Flowers has signed with the Atlanta Falcons in hopes of winning a job as a backup on the defensive line this season. The defensive end, who was a first-round pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, has spent time with three different teams over his five seasons in the league. Last year, he finished with seven tackles and one sack in nine games with the St. Louis Rams.
