Deltha O'Neal

1/7/2006

The Cincinnati Post reported O'Neal was listed by the Cincinnati Bengals as having returned to practice Jan. 7 after missing the prior day's practice with a knee injury. His game status for Sunday's playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is uncertain.

O'Neal left Saturday's game against Buffalo during Cincinnati's first defensive series with a possible knee injury. The defensive back was able to leave the field without assistance, but went to the locker room for an exam and was not on the field for Cincinnati's next defensive series. He returned to the game in the second quarter.

O'Neal had Daunte Culpepper's number in Sunday's victory over the Minnesota Vikings, picking off three of the quarterback's passes. The Bengals' cornerback also added nine tackles defended five other passes in the contest.
