Mark Campbell

3/23/2006

The Saints signed tight end Mark Campbell to a three-year contract. Primarily used as a blocker, Campbell made 19 catches for 139 yards and no touchdowns with Buffalo last season.

Campbell has missed the Buffalo Bills' last two games with a strained hamstring, but he was able to practice with the team on Wednesday, and there is a good chance he'll be ready for Sunday's tussle with the New England Patriots. The tight end was listed as questionable on the Bills' initial injury report, but he could be upgraded by the weekend.

12/4/2005

Campbell continues to be hobbled by a strained hamstring, and he will be inactive for Sunday's meeting with the Miami Dolphins, missing his second consecutive game. The tight end will be replaced in the Bills' starting lineup by Tim Euhus.

At this point, it appears Campbell will be forced to miss his second consecutive game. The tight end, who is nursing a strained hamstring, has not practiced with the Buffalo Bills all week and currently is listed as questionable on the team's injury report. Tim Euhus would get the nod if Campbell is unable to go.

After not practicing with the Bills all week because of a strained hamstring, Campbell was inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Carolina Panthers. The tight end, who was replaced in the lineup by Tim Euhus, will be re-evaluated over the next couple of days to determine his availability for Week 13.
