Expected to miss at least a month after undergoing surgery to repair a cartilage problem in his left knee, Noble has been placed on injured reserve by the Washington Redskins. During the procedure, doctors also found a bone bruise in the joint, and the team was unable to put a solid timetable on his return. The defensive tackle will be forced to sit out the rest of the season.

According to the Redskins, Noble will be sidelined for the next 4-6 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to correct a cartilage problem in his left knee. During the procedure, doctors also found a bone bruise in the joint.
