Billy Miller
11/1/2005
Miller has been released by the Cleveland Browns. After signing with the club in September, the tight end never was able to surpass Aaron Shea and Steve Heiden on the depth chart. He appeared in only three games on the year and did not record a catch.
9/4/2005
The Browns signed Miller on Saturday to add depth to the tight-end position. Miller had been released by the Texans last Monday after spending the past three seasons in Houston. He has 114 catches and seven touchdowns in 70 career games.
8/30/2005
Houston released Miller on Monday after being hampered by an ankle injury this month and becoming a secondary option at tight end with the addition of Mark Bruener last season. Miller spent three years with the Texans and caught their first touchdown pass in franchise history. He led the team in receiving in 2002, but has seen his production slip the last two years.
