Cletidus Hunt

9/4/2005

Hunt was released by the Packers on Saturday as the team trimmed its roster to 53 players. The defensive tackle has spent all six of his NFL seasons in Green Bay, and had started all but four contests over the past three campaigns. He accounted for two sacks and a forced fumble in 16 games in 2004. The team will be forced to eat some of the six-year, $25.35 million pact that Hunt signed prior to the 2003 season.
