Rex Tucker

9/16/2005

The calf injury Tucker suffered in last weekend's season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers continues to be a problem, and he's been unable to work out with the Rams this week. The starting right tackle already has been ruled out of Sunday's meeting with the Arizona Cardinals.

After being released by the Chicago Bears earlier this week, Tucker has signed a one-year contract with the St. Louis Rams. The offensive lineman, who appeared in six games last year, including five starts, missed most of the season with a dislocated left elbow and a nagging hamstring injury. He started 28 of the 36 games in which he played with the Bears.
