Dre' Bly

10/26/2005

After getting a couple of opinions on his dislocated wrist, Bly decided to undergo surgery to repair the damage on Wednesday, and he is expected to be sidelined for the next 3-4 weeks. The cornerback, who suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns, has 20 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles in six games this season.

Bly will undergo tests on Monday to determine if he will need surgery to repair his wrist, which he dislocated when colliding with another player in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns. The Lions' cornerback will be sidelined indefinitely if he is forced to go under the knife. His status will be updated in the next couple of days.
