Bryant has been placed on injured reserve by the Detroit Lions, officially ending his 2005 campaign. The starting cornerback suffered a separated shoulder when he collided with teammate Kenoy Kennedy while attempting a tackle on receiver Muhsin Muhammad in a Week 2 loss to the Chicago Bears. Receiver Scottie Vines has been signed to fill the void on the roster.

An MRI has revealed that Bryant has a separated shoulder, an injury suffered when he collided with teammate Kenoy Kennedy while attempting a tackle on receiver Muhsin Muhammad in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears. The Lions' cornerback, who has nine tackles in two games this season, will be sidelined indefinitely.
