Boston signed a contract with Tampa Bay on Wednesday after missing the majority of the past two seasons with injuries. The 27-year-old wide receiver caught four passes for 80 yards in five games with the Miami Dolphins last season, before being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. Boston's best season came with Arizona in 2001 when he made 98 catches for 1,598 yards and eight touchdowns and was selected to the Pro Bowl.

Due to continued problems with his surgically repaired left knee, Boston has been placed on injured reserve by the Miami Dolphins, officially bringing his 2005 campaign to an end. The oft-injured receiver missed the entire 2004 season with a torn tendon in the same knee. He finishes the year with just four catches for 80 yards in five games. Cliff Russell was signed to fill the void on the 53-man roster.

Due to the nagging knee injury that prevented him from practicing with the Dolphins this week, Boston has been ruled out of Sunday's battle with the Atlanta Falcons. Wes Welker will see more time in his absence.

A slight chance remains that Boston will be able to take the field this weekend, but at this point, the Dolphins are planning to be without his services. The receiver, who officially is listed as questionable on the injury report, has been unable to practice this week, due to a nagging knee injury.

Boston had been listed as probable on the Dolphins' injury report last week, but was held out of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, due to swelling in his left knee. The receiver, who missed the entire 2004 campaign after undergoing surgery to repair a torn tendon in the knee, currently is considered day-to-day.

After sitting out all of last season with a knee injury, Boston has been elevated to the second team on the Dolphins' depth chart. He has four catches for 38 yards in two exhibition games.

Boston has re-signed with the Miami Dolphins, agreeing to a one-year contract. The oft-injured receiver missed the entire 2004 campaign after undergoing surgery to repair a torn tendon in his left knee on August 9. He then failed his physical and eventually was released by the team in March. Boston also was suspended for four games by the NFL after testing positive for steroids, costing him $1.34 million since he was on injured reserve.
