Mike Vanderjagt
3/23/2006
The Cowboys solidified their kicking situation by signing Vanderjagt to a three-year deal worth about $2 million per season.
12/2/2005
Vanderjagt continues to be bothered by soreness in his calf muscle and groin, but both injuries are considered minor, and he plans to handle the Colts' kicking duties in Sunday's matchup with the Tennessee Titans. As a precautionary measure, the team has held him out of practice the past couple of days -- as has been the case for the past few weeks -- but he was able to work out on Friday. He's listed as probable on the injury report.

As a precautionary measure, Vanderjagt did not get any work in during the Colts' practice on Wednesday, due to a sore calf. The kicker, who is nursing a minor groin injury as well, is expected to return to action Thursday or Friday and be in the lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
