Nate Wayne
11/2/2005
Wayne has signed with the Detroit Lions. The 30-year-old linebacker will supply the team with some insurance at the position, considering Teddy Lehman is sidelined with a foot injury and is not expected to play this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings.

He won't officially sign until early next week, but Wayne has agreed to terms on a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The veteran linebacker, who was released by the Philadelphia Eagles last February, battled a hamstring injury last season and was limited to just nine games. He finished the 2004 campaign with 30 tackles, two forced fumbles and one sack.
