Thomas will miss the remainder of the season after being placed on injured reserve. The Eagles' left tackle has battled back problems since training camp and will undergo disc surgery. Thomas has recorded one tackle in 10 games this season.

Barring any setbacks, Thomas will continue to expand his involvement in the Eagles' workouts, and if no problems are reported, he will play in the team's final two games of the preseason. The offensive lineman has been limited since this spring with a blood clot in his leg.

A blood clot in his leg will prevent Thomas from taking part in the Philadelphia Eagles' minicamp this weekend. The offensive lineman will continue to receive treament for the problem, and the Eagles are optimistic that he will be ready for the start of training camp.
