Grady Jackson
8/31/2005
After missing the first few weeks of training camp recovering from a knee injury, Jackson has returned to practice with the Green Bay Packers this week. The defensive tackle, who was activated from the physically unable to perform list, hopes to see some action in Thursday's preseason finale against the Tennessee Titans.

Jackson's knee continues to improve, but he has yet to take part in a full-speed practice with Packers in training camp. The defensive tackle admitted that he is going to work his way back into Green Bay's starting lineup slowly. If he appears in a preseason game, it will be the team's last exhibition tilt against the Tennessee Titans on September 1.

According to his new agent Drew Rosenhaus, Jackson might hold out or seek a trade if the Green Bay Packers don't work out a new contract for him in the near future. The defensive lineman will be entering the final season of a two-year, $2.31 million deal.
