Tate re-signed with the Cardinals on Monday. Terms were not disclosed. The veteran cornerback played in 13 games for Arizona last season, starting five. Tate had 27 tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble. He's also played for Minnesota and Baltimore in his nine-year career.

Tate has re-signed with the Arizona Cardinals. The reserve cornerback, who was released late in training camp, appeared in 14 games last season, notching 12 tackles and one forced fumble. He saw the majority of his playing time on special teams. Linebacker Lester Towns was waived to make room on the roster.
