Marcus Robinson

1/1/2006

Robinson missed a couple of practices with the flu this week, but he managed to return to practice on Friday. Still, the Vikings' wide receiver may not play on Sunday. "We'll see," coach Mike Tice told the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "I've got a couple decisions to make based on (the fact that) I'm not going with six O-linemen again."

Robinson hauled in just three passes for 32 yards in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns, but he made the most of the opportunities, finding the end zone on each catch. Going into the contest, the Vikings' receiver had just two touchdowns in his previous 10 games this season.

According to Vikings head coach Mike Tice, Robinson should be in the starting lineup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, even though he's seen limited action in practice this week, due to a sore left knee. The receiver continues to be listed as questionable on Minnesota's injury report.

Nursing a sore knee, Robinson didn't do much during the Vikings' practice on Wednesday and he currently appears as questionable on the team's injury report. The receiver hopes to test out his leg over the next couple of days to determine if he will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Detroit Lions.
