Mike Vrabel

7/29/2005

The Patriots signed Vrabel to a contract extension on Friday, though terms of the deal were not available. The veteran linebacker became a starter after being signed as a free agent by New England prior to the 2001 campaign. He spent the first four seasons of his NFL career in Pittsburgh. Over the past four years, Vrabel has amassed 22.5 sacks, five interceptions and four forced fumbles in helping lead New England to three Super Bowl titles.
