Jones has signed with the Carolina Panthers, agreeing to a one-year contract. Official financial terms were not released, but the deal reportedly is worth nearly $700,000, including a $25,000 signing bonus. The veteran tight end spent last season with the Arizona Cardinals, hauling in 45 passes for 426 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games, including 15 starts.
