Leo Araguz
4/13/2006
Araguz was signed to a one-year contract by the Ravens on Thursday. The veteran punter will replace Dave Zastudil, who signed with the Browns during the opening week of free agency. Araguz played in four games for the Seahawks last season, with a punting average of 40.2 yards. He entered the NFL in 1996 and spent his first four seasons with the Raiders and has also played for the Lions and Vikings.

After averaging just 34.9 yards per punt over his last two games, Araguz has been released by the Seattle Seahawks. The team inked veteran Tom Rouen on Wednesday to fill the open spot on the roster and handle the punting duties going forward.
