Nedney re-signed with the San Francisco 49ers for four more years Saturday. The 49ers kicker completed 26-of-28 field-goal attempts and all 19 extra points last season.

Nedney plans to test out his ailing groin over the next couple of days to determine if he will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. The kicker did not practice with the 49ers on Wednesday and currently is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Nedney is inactive for San Francisco's Sunday showdown against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. The 49ers' kicker will miss the game with a strained left groin. He is 18-for-20 in field-goal attempts this season, and a perfect 13-for-13 on extra points.

Nedney, the 49ers most consistent scoring threat this season, missed Thursday's practice with a strained left groin, the San Jose Mercury News reported. The San Francisco kicker has successfully converted 18 of 20 kicks and is 13-for-13 on extra points this season.
