Brian Dawkins
8/7/2006
Dawkins agreed to a two-year extension with the Eagles on Sunday which could keep the safety in Philadelphia through 2008. Terms of the deal were not known.
10/5/2005
An MRI on Dawkins' sore ankle revealed no serious damage, and the Eagles' safety is expected to be ready for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. As a precautionary measure, he was held out of Wednesday's practice, but should be able to work out with the team later in the week.
10/4/2005
Dawkins is scheduled to undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the ankle injury he suffered in the second half of Sunday's win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles' safety has 19 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception and a forced fumble in four games this season.

Dawkins likely will be limited in practice this week after spraining his ankle in Monday night's loss to the Atlanta Falcons. However, the injury is considered minor, and the Eagles' safety hopes to be ready for Sunday's meeting with the San Francisco 49ers. He has been listed as day-to-day.
