Kevin Hardy
5/3/2005
The Bengals released Hardy on Tuesday, a move that likely signals the team's intention to put 2005 first-round draft pick David Pollack into the starting lineup. Hardy played in all 32 regular-season games for Cincinnati over the past two seasons, starting 30 of those contests and logging 101 tackles, 60 assists and 5.5 sacks from the middle and strongside linebacker positions. The nine-year NFL vet began his career in Jacksonville and also made a stop in Dallas in 2002.
