Walt Harris

10/16/2005

Harris, who has missed the past two games because of a bruised calf, has been able to practice this week. The Washington cornerback is expected to start Sunday against Kansas City. He will play in place of the injured Shawn Springs, who is out with a bruised shin.

After missing the previous two games, Redskins defensive back Walt Harris expects to play this coming Sunday against the Chiefs. Harris has sat out the last two games with an injured quadriceps, and is now considered day-to-day. Barring any setbacks in practice this week, Harris will return to the starting defensive backfield on Sunday.

Despite not practicing with the Washington Redskins this week, Harris is optimistic that he'll be ready for Sunday's matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. The cornerback currently is listed as questionable with a strained calf.
