Kennison was able to practice again on Friday and should be available when the Chiefs face the San Diego Chargers on Saturday. He is still listed as questionable with a strain of the medial collateral ligament in his knee.

Kennison wasn't quite ready to return to practice with the Chiefs on Wednesday, but he was back on the field Thursday and took part in the majority of the workout. The veteran receiver continues to be listed as questionable with a minor strain of the medial collateral ligament in his knee, but barring any setbacks, he should be in the lineup for Saturday's battle with the San Diego Chargers.

Tests have revealed that Kennison has a minor strain of the medial collateral ligament in his knee. The veteran receiver was unable to practice with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday, but he should be back on the field within the next couple of days and be ready for Saturday's matchup with the San Diego Chargers, according to head coach Dick Vermeil.

Kennison might be limited in practice this week after straining a ligament in his knee late in last weekend's loss to the New York Giants. However, according to head coach Dick Vermeil, the Chiefs are optimistic that the veteran receiver will be ready for Saturday's matchup with the San Diego Chargers.

Kennison had four receptions for 108 yards in Sunday's 31-27 victory over the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs' wide receiver broke a 54-yard reception, his longest of the season.
10/31/2005
After posting only two catches in his previous two games combined, Kennison got back on track in Sunday's loss to the San Diego Chargers, hauling in seven passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. The Chiefs' veteran receiver has topped the century mark in three contests on the year.
10/17/2005
Kennison was shut down by the Washington Redskins' defense on Sunday, finishing the Chiefs' 28-21 victory with no catches. The veteran receiver was coming off back-to-back 100-yard outings, but saw just two passes come his way all day -- both of which were incomplete.
10/3/2005
Kennison notched his second consecutive 100-yard game and scored his first touchdown of the 2005 campaign in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chiefs' veteran receiver finished the game with seven catches for 109 yards and the score. He also added a 23-yard run.

Kennison was a late scratch from the Kansas City Chiefs' lineup for Friday's exhibition game against the Minnesota Vikings, as he was excused to tend to a family illness. The veteran receiver, who was replaced by Chris Horn, is expected to be ready for the team's next contest. Tight end Tony Gonzalez and Kennison will be Trent Green's top options in the Chiefs' passing attack in 2005.
