Bobby Engram
1/29/2006
Engram didn't practice Friday because of a bruised hip, but Seattle coach Mike Holmgren said the wide receiver would be ready to practice with the Seahawks next week. In 13 games during the regular season, Engram caught 67 passes for 778 yards -- both team highs for Seattle. He caught three touchdowns.
1/19/2006
As a precautionary measure, the Seattle Seahawks are limiting Engram's practice time this week to allow him to recover from a minor back problem. Although the receiver is listed as questionable on the injury report, he is expected to be in the starting lineup for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Carolina Panthers.
12/12/2005
Engram was Matt Hasselbeck's favorite target in Sunday's 41-3 thrashing of the San Francisco 49ers, finishing the game with a team-high six catches for 65 yards and two touchdowns. After failing to find the end zone in his first eight games this season, the veteran receiver has notched three scores in his last two contests.
11/4/2005
Engram has made it through the Seahawks' practices this week unscathed, and he will return to the receiver rotation for Sunday's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. The veteran wideout has been sidelined since Week 4 with a couple of cracked ribs.
11/1/2005
Engram has declared himself fit to return to action, and he plans to practice with the Seattle Seahawks later this week. The receiver, who has been sidelined since Week 4 with a couple of cracked ribs, should be in the starting lineup for Sunday's meeting with the Arizona Cardinals, barring any setbacks.
10/20/2005
Engram's two cracked ribs are healing, but he has yet to return to the practice field with the Seattle Seahawks. The receiver, who has been sidelined since Week 4, already has been ruled out of Sunday's matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. With Darrell Jackson continuing to recover from knee surgery, Joe Jurevicius, D.J. Hackett and Peter Warrick will serve as Matt Hasselbeck's primary targets in the Seahawks' passing game.
10/12/2005
Still sidelined by two cracked ribs, Engram has been ruled out of Sunday night's matchup with the Houston Texans. The Seahawks' receiver, who missed last weekend's contest as well, continues to show improvement, but he is not quite ready for contact, especially in a game situation. In four games this season, Engram has 27 receptions for 316 yards, but has yet to score a touchdown.
10/9/2005
As expected, Engram has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams, due to two cracked ribs. The receiver has been unable to practice with the Seahawks this week after suffering the injury in last weekend's loss to the Washington Redskins. With fellow starter Darrell Jackson out with a knee injury as well, Seattle will give Joe Jurevicius and D.J. Hackett starting nods, while Peter Warrick and Jerheme Urban will handle backup duties.
10/5/2005
Engram will not practice with the Seattle Seahawks this week, and he is unlikely to play in Sunday's meeting with the St. Louis Rams after cracking two ribs on the first play in last weekend's loss to the Washington Redskins. Despite the injury, the receiver was able to remain in the game and notch a team-high nine catches for 106 yards before leaving for good early in the fourth quarter. Officially, he is listed as doubtful.
10/3/2005
Despite suffering two cracked ribs early in the contest, Engram was able to remain in the Seahawks' lineup for the majority of Sunday's overtime loss to the Washington Redskins. Playing through the injury, the veteran receiver finished the game with a team-high nine catches for 106 yards. His last 100-yard outing came nearly six years ago.
9/1/2005
Engram will remain in Seattle's starting lineup this season, even though the team added former first-round pick Peter Warrick on Wednesday. Despite serving primarily as the Seahawks' No. 3 receiver in 2004, Engram was second on the team last season in both receptions (35) and receiving yards (499) in 13 games. He finished the campaign with two touchdowns.

According to Seattle head coach Mike Holmgren, the No. 2 wide receiver spot opposite Darrell Jackson is Engram's to lose heading into training camp later this summer. Engram is the top candidate to fill the vacancy left by Koren Robinson, who was released by the Seahawks at the beginning of June not long after being brought up on charges of DUI. Engram was second on the team last season in both receptions (35) and receiving yards (499).
