Eric Moulds
4/5/2006
Moulds agreed to a contract with Houston on Tuesday night, with the Texans acquiring him from Buffalo for a fifth-round draft pick. Moulds signed a $14 million, four-year deal with the Texans that includes a $5 million signing bonus. The deal will save Buffalo about $5.5 million in salary cap space.

Moulds received Buffalo's permission to seek a trade, meaning the veteran wide receiver has played his last down for the team he spent the first 10 seasons of his career with. Moulds repeatedly rejected Buffalo's demands to take a pay cut and the Bills finally consented to trading him.
2/27/2006
Moulds rejected the Bills' offer on Monday to restructure his contract, which may lead Buffalo to release the star wide receiver as early as this week. Moulds, who was suspended for one game this season for conduct detrimental to the team, is owed $10.85 million next season and his release could save the team about $5.5 million.
12/18/2005
Returning from a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team, Moulds caught nine passes for 110 yards in Saturday's loss to Denver. The Bills' veteran receiver accounted for more than one-third of the team's 272 yards in total offense.

Moulds returned to practice with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday, and he is expected to be available for Saturday's matchup with the Denver Broncos. The veteran receiver missed last week's loss to the New England Patriots after being suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the team.
12/8/2005
After being excused from practice by Bills head coach Mike Mularkey the past two days, Moulds now has been suspended for one game without pay, according to team owner Ralph Wilson. The veteran receiver expressed his frustration after he was targeted just twice in last weekend's loss to the Miami Dolphins, spending much of the game on the bench. He also questioned some of the Bills' play calls, especially passing the ball with the game seemingly well in hand.

Reportedly, Moulds could face a suspension from Bills head coach Mike Mularkey, evidently due to his comments following Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. The veteran receiver expressed his frustration after he was targeted just twice in the contest, spending much of the game on the bench, as the Bills looked to get younger players more time in the offense.
12/5/2005
For the first time in eight years, Moulds failed to haul in a pass, finishing Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins with no receptions. Looking to get younger players more time in the offensive attack, the Bills targeted the veteran receiver just twice in the contest. In 12 games this season, Moulds has 54 catches for 511 yards and three touchdowns.
10/31/2005
Moulds definitely has benefited from having quarterback Kelly Holcomb under center. The Bills' veteran receiver, who had just 10 receptions for 80 yards and no scores in four games with J.P. Losman at the helm, caught nine passes for 125 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots. It was his first 100-yard game in over a year.
10/10/2005
With Kelly Holcomb running the Bills' offense in Sunday's meeting with the Miami Dolphins, Moulds finished with seven catches for 59 yards and a touchdown, nearly matching his production over his first four games of the 2005 campaign combined. Going into the contest, the veteran receiver had just 10 receptions for 80 yards and no scores -- the inexperienced J.P. Losman was at the helm for those games.
10/3/2005
Moulds, who has topped 750 yards receiving each of his last seven seasons, has had a difficult time getting involved in the Bills' passing attack in 2005. Through four games, the veteran wideout has hauled in just 10 balls for 80 yards and he has yet to find the end zone.
9/15/2005
Nursing a minor ankle injury, Moulds was held out of practice on Wednesday, purely as a precautionary measure. The veteran receiver, who is listed as probably on the Bills' injury report, plans to work out with the team over the next couple of days and be in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
8/23/2005
After sitting out on Sunday to rest his bruised ribs, Moulds was back at practice with the Buffalo Bills on Monday and reported no major problems. The receiver suffered the minor injury when he took a shot in Saturday's preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
8/20/2005
Moulds left in the second quarter of Buffalo's preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday after bruising his ribs. The receiver said the injury is minor, and he does not expect to miss much time.
