Kyle Brady

8/6/2005

Brady acknowledged Friday that he has lost some strength in the grip in his right hand because of a middle finger that has been swollen for more than a year. The tight end suffered permanent joint damage after rupturing a tendon in the finger during the 2004 preseason. Brady missed the first five games of last season, then played the rest of the year with a series of different braces on the hand, resulting in a career-low 14 catches.
