Brant Boyer

8/29/2005

Boyer, who missed the entire 2004 campaign with a broken bone in his right foot, has been released by the Cleveland Browns. The move comes as a bit of a surprise, as the veteran linebacker was slated to serve as one of the top special teams players for the Browns this season. In 129 career games, he has 369 tackles, 13 sacks and six interceptions.

After missing the entire 2004 season with a broken bone in his right foot, Boyer sprained his toe on the first day of 2005 rookie training camp. Although the injury does not seem to be too serious, we're wondering what else will go wrong for him.
