Tim Bowens
6/8/2005
The Dolphins waived Bowens on Wednesday after he failed a physical, and it's likely that the 11-year veteran will retire. Bowens, who has been with Miami his entire career, played in just two games last season due to a herniated disc in his back. The former first-round draft choice has logged 22 sacks and nine forced fumbles in 157 pro games, 155 of those as a starter.
