12/12/2005

Bledsoe averaged 9.8 yards per completion -- a season high -- and posted a 126.1 passer rating, leading the Dallas Cowboys to a 31-28 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The veteran quarterback finished the game 22 of 34 for 332 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, but was sacked four times.

Bledsoe continued his solid play this season, topping the 300-yard mark for the second time on the year in Sunday's win over the New York Giants. The 33-year-old quarterback converted 26 of his 37 passes for 312 yards and a touchdown. However, his day wasn't perfect, as he was intercepted once, sacked three times and lost two fumbles.

Bledsoe posted his second three-TD game of the season, leading the Cowboys to a 33-10 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The veteran quarterback completed 24 of his 35 pass attempts on the day, did not throw an interception and avoided being sacked. He has at least one touchdown in each of his five games this season.

Bledsoe accounted for three of the Cowboys' scores in Sunday's 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The veteran quarterback completed 24 of his 38 pass attempts for 363 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for five yards and a TD on three carries. He threw two interceptions and was sacked twice.

Bledsoe got off to a good start in his regular-season debut with the Dallas Cowboys, leading the team to a 28-24 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. The veteran quarterback, who was the top overall pick in the 1993 NFL Draft, went 18 of 24 for 226 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. His day was not perfect, however, as he was sacked four times and fumbled twice, losing one.

According to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Bledsoe has a pulled muscle on the bottom of his foot, an injury that prompted a precautionary MRI on Tuesday. However, all tests were negative, and the veteran quarterback was able to work out with the team later in the day. He is not expected to miss any time.
