Brad Johnson

11/28/2005

Johnson tossed a season-high three touchdown passes in Sunday's victory over the Cleveland Browns. The veteran quarterback, who finished the contest 19 of 28 for 207 yards and an interception, has led the Vikings to four consecutive victories since taking over as the starter for the injured Daunte Culpepper.

Johnson will likely assume Minnesota's starting quarterback role for the remainder of the season with Daunte Culpepper out with a knee injury. After replacing Culpepper in the first quarter on Sunday, the 12-year veteran from Florida State went 13-for-28 for 162 yards and a touchdown in his first extended action this season.
