Buckley has signed with the New York Giants, filling the roster spot of fellow cornerback Will Peterson, who will miss the rest of the season with a nagging back problem. The 34-year-old veteran appeared in 16 games with the New York Jets in 2004, notching 10 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble, but he has not played this season.
