Ambrose was among the players cut by the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. He had signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs after spending the 2004 season with the New Orleans Saints.

Ambrose has signed a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran cornerback spent last season with the New Orleans Saints, notching 26 tackles, three interceptions and one forced fumble in nine games, including six starts. He missed some time with a minor tear in the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
