Bonser was optioned from Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday by the Minnesota Twins to take the place of injured left-hander Francisco Liriano. He is scheduled to start on Saturday.

Bonser was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Thursday after another rough start on Wednesday. Bonser gave up seven runs in four innings, although only four were earned. He is 2-3 with a 5.67 ERA over eight starts this season.

Bonser was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday, one day after allowing four runs, four hits and four walks over three innings in a 7-2 loss to Kansas City. The right-handed starter went 2-2 with a 5.30 ERA in seven starts for the Twins since being recalled May 19 to replace Kyle Lohse in the rotation.
