Francoeur went 3-for-6 with a three-run homer, a triple and three runs scored in the Braves' 13-3 win over the Mets on Sunday.

Francoeur went a perfect 4-for-4 -- a career high for hits in a game -- with an RBI and run scored in Tuesday's 7-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants. Since making his major league debut last month, the Braves' outfielder has hit safely in 19 of the 21 games in which he has recorded an at-bat, including 10 straight.

Francoeur went 2-for-4 with a home run and double in Sunday's loss to the St. Louis Cardinals to extend his current hitting streak to nine games. Over that span, the Braves' outfielder is batting .410 with three homers and nine RBI.

In Thursday's win over the Washington Nationals, Francoeur hit solo shots in the fourth and sixth innings, notching the first multihomer game of his major league career. Since making his major league debut on July 8, the Braves' rookie outfielder is 15-for-34 (.441) with five home runs and 12 RBI.

Francoeur was expected to make his major league debut on Friday, but Braves manager Bobby Cox decided to throw him into the lineup for the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs. The 21-year-old outfielder took advantage of the opportunity, belting a three-run homer in the sixth inning for the first hit of his career.

The Atlanta Braves have recalled Francouer from Double-A Mississippi, replacing injured veteran Brian Jordan on the roster. The 21-year-old outfielder, considered to be one of the organization's top prospects, was batting .275 with 13 home runs, 62 RBI and 13 stolen bases with the minor league club this season.
