The Chicago White Sox recalled Bajenaru from Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday. The 27-year-old righthander was up briefly in late August and worked a scoreless inning for Chicago. At Charlotte, he was dominant, going 4-6 with a 1.41 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 19 saves and 83 strikeouts in 70.1 innings.

Between games of the Chicago's Tuesday doubleheader with the Texas Rangers, the White Sox optioned Bajenaru to Triple-A Charlotte to make room for Game 2 starter Brandon McCarthy. Bajenaru made his major league debut on Monday, working a scoreless inning against Texas.

The Chicago White Sox recalled Bajenaru on Monday and optioned Jon Adkins to Triple-A Charlotte. The 27-year-old Bajenaru has been terrific at Charlotte, posting a 4-5 record, 1.30 ERA, 19 saves and 81 strikeouts in 69 innings.
