Dallimore has been recalled from Triple-A Fresno by the San Francisco Giants, filling the roster spot of pitcher Kevin Correia, who was sent down to the minor leagues to get some work in during the upcoming All-Star break. The infielder has appeared in just six games with the Giants this season, going 1-for-6 with a run scored.

Dallimore was optioned to Triple-A Fresno on Saturday. Recalled from the minors when Marquis Grissom went on the disabled list on May 20, Dallimore appeared in six games with the Giants, hitting .167 (1-for-6).

With Marquis Grissom going on the 15-day disabled list on Friday, the San Francisco Giants recalled Dallimore from Triple-A Fresno to take the roster spot. To make room on their 40-man roster for the 31-year-old Dallimore, the Giants moved Barry Bonds to the 60-day DL. Dallimore, an infielder, was hitting .255 with four homers and 13 RBI in 38 games with Fresno this season.
