In his brief time with Seattle, he hit .250 with six runs scored and two RBI.

The Seattle Mariners will be recalling Strong on Monday. They intended to have him on the roster Sunday, when they returned reliever Jeff Harris to Triple-A Tacoma, but Strong was a day shy of being eligible to return after being demoted nine days earlier. He had appeared in two games for the Mariners at the start of August, but he didn't get a plate appearance.

Strong, who was recalled a few days ago, made two appearances for the Mariners but didn't get to the plate. He's batting .293 with a .370 on-base percentage in 86 games for Tacoma.
