Snyder was sent down to Triple-A Omaha on Saturday. The pitcher is 0-3 with a 9.24 ERA in nine games (three starts)with the Kansas City Royals this season. Snyder will continue to be a starter at Omaha.

Snyder was recalled by the Kansas City Royals from Triple-A Omaha in order to start Saturday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. To make room on the roster, the Royals sent J.P Howell down to Omaha. Snyder is 0-0 with a 4.15 ERA in six relief appearances with Kansas City on the season. He was sent down to Omaha last week after being activated off of the disabled list.

Two months after going on the disabled list for a strained right shoulder, Snyder was activated from the DL by the Kansas Royals Thursday and optioned to Triple-A Omaha. The 27-year-old righthander posted a 4.15 ERA in six relief appearances for the Royals before he was injured.

The Kansas City Royals placed Snyder on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a strained right shoulder. The same shoulder forced the 27-year-old righthander to miss all of 2004 because of a torn labrum. Snyder has posted a 4.15 ERA in six relief appearances this season, striking out seven in 13 innings.

Taking Snyder's spot on the Royals' roster is D.J. Carrasco, who is scheduled to start on Friday against Tampa Bay.

Snyder has been recalled from Triple-A Omaha by the Kansas City Royals, filling the roster spot of closer Jeremy Affeldt, who is sidelined with a groin injury. Snyder is slated to pitch in long relief.

Snyder last pitched in the majors in 2003, going 1-6 with a 5.17 ERA in 15 starts for the Royals. In spring training, he allowed just two runs on seven hits in 13.2 innings, striking out 12 and walking three, then posted a 1.17 ERA in three appearances with Triple-A Omaha.
