Sean Burnett

Burnett, who missed the 2005 season after undergoing shoulder and elbow surgery, has been removed from Pittsburgh's 60-day disabled list.

On Tuesday, Burnett underwent surgery to repair a labrum tear in his pitching shoulder. The 22-year-old lefthander, who underwent elbow surgery in September as well, is expected to be sidelined until spring training next year. He was 5-5 with a 5.02 ERA in his first 13 big league starts last summer before going under the knife.
