Aaron Heilman

5/5/2005

With starter Kris Benson returning from a stint on the disabled list, Heilman will move to the bullpen for the time being. However, the move might be temporary, as the Mets chose to option Jae Seo to the minor leagues on Wednesday, leaving them with just four starters currently on the roster.

Expect Heilman to be available for long relief, but he should be back in the rotation as soon as the Mets need a fifth starter, which is as soon as early next week. In five starts this season, Heilman is 2-2 with a 4.65 ERA and one complete game.
