With Wednesday's trade for Preston Wilson and Ryan Church's return from the disabled list, the Washington Nationals outrighted Cepicky to Triple-A New Orleans. The 27-year-old outfielder went 5-for-18 (.278) with three doubles and three RBI in seven games for the Nationals.

The Washington Nationals have recalled Cepicky from Triple-A New Orleans, filling the roster spot of first baseman Nick Johnson, who will be sidelined until after the All-Star break with a bruised heel. With the minor league club this season, the 27-year-old outfielder was batting .274 with 14 home runs and 58 RBI.
