Mike Koplove


The Diamondbacks recalled Koplove from Triple-A Tucson on Thursday. The right-hander allowed one run and two hits in one inning of relief for Arizona in a 7-3 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Thursday.


The Arizona Diamondbacks optioned Koplove to Triple-A Tucson on Saturday. Koplove is 2-1 with a 5.07 ERA in 44 relief appearances with the Diamondbacks this season.


The Diamondbacks recalled Koplove from Triple-A Tucson on Saturday. Since being sent down to the minors earlier this month, Koplove had gone 0-1 with a 5.00 ERA in three appearances for Tucson. He is 2-1 with a 5.06 ERA in 30 games with the Diamondbacks in 2005.


The Arizona Diamondbacks have optioned Koplove to Triple-Tucson and recalled righthander Edgar Gonzalez. The 28-year-old Koplove, who was impressive as a rookie in 2002 and solid the following season, hasn't been as effective in 2004 and this spring. In 2005, the righthander is 2-1 with a 5.06 ERA in 30 relief appearances.
