7/15/2005

Glynn was outrighted to Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday, in order to make room on the Oakland roster for trade acquisitions Joe Kennedy and Jay Witasick. In three starts and a pair of relief appearances, the 30-year-old Glynn was 0-4 with a 6.88 ERA over 17 innings.

Glynn has movedinto the Oakland starting rotation, replacing the struggling Seth Etherton. Glynn gave up three runs on six hits in seven innings against Toronto in his first appearance of the year for the A's on Friday.

5/16/2005

The Toronto Blue Jays traded Glynn to Oakland for cash considerations on Sunday. The 30-year-old righthander, who was 1-0 with a 4.05 in 20 innings with the Jays in 2004, was acquired to fill a hole in the rotation of the A's Triple-A affiliate at Sacramento. He was pitching for Toronto's Triple-A club in Syracuse.
