Darren Dreifort

5/2/2005

Dreifort remains on the Dodgers' disabled list, as he continues to recover from four offseason surgeries. The veteran righthander, who underwent shoulder surgery following procedures on his right hip and both knees, likely won't pitch this season and could be done for his career, according to Los Angeles manager Jim Tracy.

Dreifort is in the last year of a five-year, $55 million contract. He's appeared in just 86 games, including 20 starts, since signing with the Dodgers prior to the 2001 campaign.
