Torres and the Pittsburgh Pirates came to terms on a two-year, $6.5 million contract extension Tuesday. Torres gets a $400,000 signing bonus and salaries of $2.6 million in 2007 and $3.2 million in 2008. The Pirates have a $3.75 million option for 2009 that can be bought out for $300,000.
