The Chicago Cubs placed Pagan on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a partial tendon tear of his left hamstring. The rookie utilityman was replaced on the 25-man roster by right-hander David Aardsma. Pagan was 5-for-19 (.263) with a double and an RBI in nine games for the Cubs.
