Eveland was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Friday after he took the loss in a 10-4 defeat to Washington. The Brewers' left-hander was 0-3 with an 8.51 ERA in five starts and gave up five runs and six hits over four innings in Friday's loss.

With Tomo Ohka (rotator cuff) and Ben Sheets (shoulder tendinitis) on the disabled list, the Milwaukee Brewers recalled Eveland Wednesday from Triple-A Nashville. The promising 22-year-old left-hander was 3-1 with a 0.75 ERA in six starts for Nashville.
